When collating my photographs after my year of Clipper (no mean feat), I realised that I had unintentionally accrued a collection of photos that I felt quite well expressed life at sea. It should be said, however, when things were going really badly, there wasn’t usually time to be getting the camera out, so that in some part contributes to the lack of unhappy people in photographs. Although, with that in mind, I also like to think that people on my yacht spent more time happy than otherwise, hence a majority of photos that depict people loving life, rather than the other way around.
